    Distance between the studs

Not all walls are built the same. While some walls have 16-inch spacing between studs, others may have 24-inch. Measuring the distance between the studs in the wall where you plan to install the mount. The holes in the wall mount plate will need to be aligned with the wall studs

   TV size - VESA pattern

Make sure to choose a mount that is compatible with your TV size and weight. Check the VESA mounting pattern of your TV and make sure the mount you choose is compatible.

Measure TV screen size

Most screens are expressed in inches, a TV's size refers to its diagonal length of the screen, measure only the screen and not the bezel or frame around it

Measure from the top left corner of the screen to the bottom right corner, using a tape measure.
